The Inner Ground Railroad

A Psycho-Spiritual Framework To Reclaim Black Folks’ Joy & Pleasure.

THE INNERGROUND RAILROAD is an eight-session online course designed by therapist and creative Thea Monyee', to provide a psycho-spiritual framework to reclaim Black folks’ access to joy & pleasure. We will negotiate holistic historic and systemic trauma recovery work for Black folks by addressing and empowering Black folks to reclaim, demand, define, and experience joy safely within their lives and bodies. This work is intuitive and self authorized, requiring the participant to "bring something of themselves" to the table for each session. By the end of the course participants will have increased skills to utilize this psycho/social/spiritual tool for self and/or others to support the healing and reclamation of Black folks access to joy and pleasure in the midst of an anti-Black society.
